Seems like I have not enough time to interact with people from my Mighty 6, Haising, PS cells and even M1. I realise I love building relationships :) they just make life meaningful and beautiful.
Everything in life is about relationships, right from the beginning! ... The Holy Trinity relationship between Father, Son and the Holy Spirit to God creating Adam and Eve, you and me to have community.
Oh God, do grant me the wisdom to make full use of time to show Your love to the people around me, the grace to accept differences, and trust that each and every relationship I've built, whether shallow or deep will be fruitful :)
I don't know if this works, but I do pray to God to ask Him to help me convey a certain thought/ feeling I want a certain someone to know, when I dont have the time/ courage to talk to them. It's God being my mediator! Don't know if got such thing or not hahahaha! but just pray lor! =D
So God, help me speak to them in Your very own special way :)
HAHAHA whoo! Felt a certain way I didn't today during cell.
I shivered...
So what's the big deal? Maybe I felt cold that's all.
But I shook uncontrollably after sharing my thoughts about purity to my small group.
I'm quite positive it was God who touched me and spoke through me. It was on His heart.
I only twice in my life I would shake this way:
(1) When I was Sec 1, 4 years ago when I discovered my destiny and dedicated my life to serve Christ.
(2) At Intercessors' Prayer Meeting (IPM) when I also spoke to the rest about the lost generation, my lost generation.
When you sing "Break my heart for what breaks Yours" and you ain't kidding about it, God ain't gonna kid about it when He shows it to you too. Seriously. At times like these, I feel weak, hopeless and lost. I break down and cry.
Just wanna share something that struck me cos I was thinking about it too:
the modesty revolution.
this is disturbing.
and im using all my courage to post it.
somebody join the modesty revolution please.
beauty is from your heart. not anywhere else.
make modesty the new fashion.
ditch those short skirts& shorts because you dont need to show that much skin to prove that you are beautiful.
ditch those low, show cleavege tops because whats inside are just not meant to be seen.
hide those bra straps away from your tank tops because its part of a bra and its meant to be worn on the inside.
because you are beautiful, even if you wear a long sleeve top with jeans and sneakers.
fashion is really going wrong.
i looked around me, and i realised nothing matters to me anymore.
that this world is just so fallen, so sick, that i have enough of it.
look at the clothes they are selling at stores, look at what girls are wearing these days. look at the trend today. look at what models are wearing. what they are encouraging girls to do. that they are telling girls what to look like.
these styles, are just plain disgusting.
that sometimes, i feel that none of these styles deserves to fit into any girls’ wardrobe.
if only girls these days know what they are wearing, what they should be wearing, what style they are following, what modesty is.
if they know that they are showing too much skin, if they know that guys are stumbling because of what they are wearing.
Get this right, . dont let the images of airbrushed women in the magazines dent your self-confidence. dont listen to the lies of the media that skinny is beautiful. dont let the media define you. dont let them tell you what beauty is.
Beauty is something that shines out from your heart and manifests itself in your actions. (:
