If I have free time, I will share some of my many thoughts :)
Poly life is gonna start very very soon... like next monday! Gee, and guess what is slept for 13 hours! woke up at 3pm leh! seriously cannot believe I'm this piggish! :/ my 6 months break of slacking is OVER! TODAY IS MY LAST DAY. :( sadness! hahaha I really enjoyed this 6 months God provided for me to rest! Hopefully I will have another 6 months to relax sometime in my life again! :) heehee!
On one hand I feel excited! A brand new season of life is about to begin! New friends, new environment, new subjects, new food menus! Shiokkk ah to have all things new!!!
Then again, I am fear to embrace all these new changes. For the past weeks, I have been asking God, What exactly is fear? and How to conquer fear?
Fear blurs one's capabilities and identity in God. It focuses our minds on our present situation, heightens insecurity and makes one believes one is weak and vulnerable.
The Fear of God is true love towards God. It is the end of all other fears, the essence of faith.
"There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love." -1 John 4:18
I was really afraid of Qi Yue (Seven month) when I was younger. I disliked sleeping in the dark because I was fearful that some spirit will just attack me or I would see some creeeeeeeepy face staring right at me! I cocoon myself with my blanket and even if I was sweating like mad underneath the whole thing I was unwilling to unwrap myself till daybreak! Not until when I told Shawn about this nonsense I'd been doing, he lead me to this verse! I decided to place my trust in God, bit by bit. Praise God! I became more secure in who he is and His character. I know because he loves me too much, he would watch my step, look what is head of me and guide me. What was really comforting is that God's word also says God is still there in the morning, at my bedside! Normally after your Dad/Mum tucks you in, they'll leave the room! But God is faithful!!! He remains at my bedside throughout the night watching over me :) God is gooood.
"For you did not receive a spirit that makes you a slave again to fear, but you received the Spirit of sonship. And by him we cry 'Abba Father.'" -Rom 8:15
'Let those who fear the Lord say: "His love endures forever."' -Psalm 118:6
"Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you." -1 Pet 5:7
Secondly, like what I shared, I trusted in God's presence and power...
"Yes, though I walk through the [deep, sunless] valley of the shadow of death, I will fear or dread no evil, for You are with me; Your rod [to protect] and Your staff [to guide], they comfort me." -Psalm 23:4 (Amp)
"So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand." -Isaiah 41:10
"The Lord is with me; I will not be afraid. What can man do to me?" -Psalm 118:4
'He replied, "You of little faith, why are you so afraid?" Then he got up and rebuked the winds and waves, and it was completely clam.' - Matthew 8:26
The 3rd key is to trust and obey in God's Word (promises):
'"Do not let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God; trust also in me..."' -John 14:1
"Do not be afraid, little flock, for your Father has been pleased to give you the kingdom." -Luke 12:32
"When I am afraid, I will trust in you. In God, whose word I praise, in God I trust; I will not be afraid. What can mortal man do to me?" -Psalm 56: 3-4
"Surely God is my salvation; I will trust and not be afraid. The Lord, the Lord is my strength and my song; he has become my salvation." -Isaiah 12:2
"Who is going to harm you if you are eager to do good? But even if you should suffer for what is right, you are blessed. Do not fear what they fear, do not be frightened. But in your hearts set apart Christ as Lord." -1 Pet 3: 13-15
Father, to trust in Your Word, Your power and Your unfailing love for me is what I will do :) simply trust that all things will be good because you are good! :)

Last friday, I went to buy my cross necklace and purity ring with Jolynn Wong!!!
My necklace shall declare my faith in Jesus and serve as a physical reminder that no matter what happens, God is with me!! :) & my purity ring besides reminding to stay pure for my future husband emotionally and physically as well as being pure in my heart, thoughts, speech, actions and dressing in poly!!! :) yayyy!
My fear of going to poly and seeing the people around me not reaching their full potential because they are afraid of certain things inspired me to share some of my thoughts. Hopefully, they'll be someone who was blessed by this. :)
